Part-Time help wanted (Japanese & English required)

Hi there!

We're Ichiba Japan, an ecommerce business connecting Japan's unique anime culture with customers worldwide. Our cozy office is based in Osaka, near Temmabashi Station. We're looking for a part-time team member to join us on this exciting journey.

🕒 Work Hours

Working hours: 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday to Friday (5 days per week)
*Schedule can be discussed

💼 Responsibilities

Your main tasks will be:

Parcel Prep (Primary Task - 90% of your time): Packing small, adorable products (think plushies!) to ship to our global customers.
Translation Help (Secondary Task - 10% of your time): Assisting us (the three founders) with Japanese-English translation and interpretation when we need to complete documents or chat with partners—since, truth be told, our Japanese isn’t the best!

✨ About You

No qualification required—we’ll provide all the guidance you need! However, we do ask that you are:

Native Japanese speaker with conversational English.
Non-smoker (our products like plushies are sensitive to odors).
In good physical condition since the job involves a lot of moving around, bending to access low shelves, and occasionally using a step stool to reach higher inventory.

👍 It’s a plus

Although not required, it would be fantastic if you:

Are familiar with the Japanese anime universe 🇯🇵.
Have experience in parcel preparation or shipping logistics.
Are good at administrative tasks and organization.

💰 Salary

It’s non-negotiable—no need to bring out your calculator!

1,400 JPY/hour + transportation covered up to 25,000 JPY/month
